An Appraisal - also commonly referred to as a CMA or Comparative Market Review. Appraisals are a requirement from the REA NZ for all licensee's and real estate agents: An appraisal must be provided to all vendors (home owners) with an Agency Agreement.
However you may just be keen know out of curiosity what the value of your home is in the current market for personal or financial reasons.
Perhaps a neighbour's or friends house has just sold or you are simply just curious, what would my home be worth?

There are two ways I can have your property appraised: If you are not ready to meet then I can provide you with an appraisal based upon information and statistical data on record, and viewing your home externally.
The second way that I can provide a more comprehensive appraisal is to meet you at your home. You can show me around, point out any improvements and features that make your home unique: Then I will compile this info together with statistical data including CV, size of house, land, age, and title etc and run a comparable analysis of recent neighbouring properties that have comparable size within a particular price range.
I will then present this written document to you within 24 hours.
