For 2023, we raised $40,000! What can we do in 2024? If you're looking to sell your house within the next 12 months, then here is a chance for you to pay the fee you like, and support a local school! Here's how it's going to work... At the Maunu School Country Fair, we will be auctioning off my services to sell a home, with the entire fee then being donated to Maunu School! In the lead up to the day of the Maunu School Country Fair in 2024, you will be able to start placing bids for the auction via online . This lets you register and compete to pay the fee of your choice to get your house sold. Then, on the day of the Maunu School Country Fair just before 12pm, myself, or a representative of Harcourts Whangarei will conduct the finale of the Auction. We will announce the level that the online bidding has got to, and then ask for any further bids live at the school fair. At the conclusion of the bidding, the person with the highest bid will win the Auction, and the amount bid will be paid to Maunu School upon the successful sale of the property. You get the same great service, the only difference is that the fee is then paid to Maunu School, and not to me or an agency. We're looking forward to seeing what the good people of Maunu and Whangarei will give to have their house sold, with the bonus being all of the funds going to support our local school. This offer is not meant to entice or encourage you away from any current agency agreement you may have in place.
This offer is transferable between the successful bidder on the day, and anyone that they may nominate.
This offer is valid for 12 months from the date of the Auction. With the property being on the market and for sale within that period. To take place after a current property appraisal and marketing plan has been presented, and agency agreement has been signed. Along with any AML (anti-money laundering) or other legal requirements having been carried out.
To take part in the Auction, you will confirm that you are the legal owner of the property that is going to be for sale, have completed our registration form on this site prior to the day, and listed your property for sale with Paul Sumich.
This offer is only valid for a full property campaign, and is not valid for an off-market sale. There will be a customised marketing plan put in place that the bidder or home seller will be invoiced for.
The offer is valid for a primary residential residence only, not a rental property of any type, land development or other commercial property.
The property to be sold is to be located within a 50km radius of Maunu Primary School.
This offer is subject to the highest bidder paying the amount bid by way of the deduction of that amount on the successful unconditional sale of the property. The funds will then be paid to a nominated Maunu School bank account within 10 days of the unconditional property sale.
If the Maunu school fair is canceled or postponed, then this property fee Auction will either take place on the revised school fair date, or at a time and location to be determined within 7 days of the original date.
This offer was not going to be made available to any other real estate agencies, their staff, contractors, or employees - but everyone deserves to help raise funds for the school, so we’re extending an invitation to anyone!
Paul Sumich and Harcourts Whangarei reserve the right to bid on our own behalf, to ensure that a minimum dollar amount is fundraised for Maunu school. But we shouldn't need to do that, let's be generous here!
